N-ETHYLANILINE

Description

Description of N-ETHYLANILINE with associated disease summary

Early diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) may be made possible by the exploration of novel quantifiable biomarkers. Exhaled breath condensate (EBC) from 30-age-matched normal healthy individuals and 27 idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH; New York Heart Association functional class III/IV) patients were collected. EBC samples were analyzed using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC-MS) followed by autoregression, and partial least squares regression (AR/PLSR) analysis to discriminate between the IPAH and control groups. Benzeamine, N-ethyl- is present in IPAH samples. Overall, it was observed that EBC in IPAH patients appear to be more oxidized than control groups. Benzeamine, N-ethyl- could be a potential novel biomarker for early diagnosis of IPAH pulmonary hemodynamics. ( PLoS One. (2014) ) Description of disease(s) related to Benzenamine, N-ethyl-):
