Description of 14,15-Leukotriene E4 with associated disease summary
Disease summary
Asthma
Sachs-Olsen et al. found in school-aged children (age 6-18) that Eoxin E4/palmitic acid (PA) ratio was significantly increased in asthmatic patients versus healthy controls. In children with bronchial hyperresponsiveness (BHR), Eoxin E4 level was significantly increased when compared with children without BHR (J Allergy Clin Immunol. (2010)).Summary of extracted biomedical information
